A few months back it was reported that Bono and the Edge were writing the music for the musical version of Spiderman.

Things are still apparently on going, but it's now called Spiderman: the Opera, or at least, that's what Bono said when he was interviewed during the Mortage Bankers Association (yeah, there's one) annual convention in Boston, Massachusetts.

Some have commented on the change from musical to opera, but I don't really care...I just want to watch this.

I have high hopes for this, after all, they've already written a song for a superhero (Batman, Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me) and a super spy (James Bond- Goldeneye), and both turned out pretty good.
